Mr. Denny Umri ButarButar is one of the founders of DNF Attorneys & Counsellors at Law. He focused on corporate and financial transaction issues. He has become a member of Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI) since 2015.

Before he founded DNF Attorneys & Counsellors at Law, he start his carrier by joining Radjiman Billitea & Partners which dealing with various SOE clients and their affiliates. Those companies covers various business sectors such as financing for MSMEs (government program), banking (booth conventional and sharia), oil and gas, trade port and industrial area. Before practicing as a lawyer, since 2010 Mr. Deny supports and also contributes in several law matters such as the issue of bonds, sukuk and Medium Term Notes. Furthermore, he also involved in many corporate transactions in related to M&A, debt restructuring, liquidation, contracts, union, as well as auditing the procurement process that has been carried out. He has also issued many legal opinions/legal studies on legal issues faced by clients. In 2020, he had time to help Badan Aksesibilitas Telekomunikasi dan informasi which is Badan Layanan Umum Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika as a legal expert related to communication access in the foremost, outermost, and underdeveloped areas in Indonesia.

He obtained a bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Law from the Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara in 2009 and obtained a Masters degree in Law from the Universitas Sumatera Utara in 2014.
